  • This is what it’s all about

My name is Kelly and I am a life long lover of both dogs and photography. You can trust me to capture the fun, playful and quiet moments of your dog in a natural setting. In the end you will have the opportunity to have a beautiful work of art to display on your wall or several photographs to display in your family albums. We love our dogs so much and having photographs of them is something that you can look back on for years to come; I guarantee they will always bring a smile to your face.

Belus and Ava

I just love how much happiness dogs can bring into people’s lives and these two rescue pups are totally devoted to their mom.  Ava and Belus are getting up there in age but still acted like energetic puppies.  It was a wonderful session out at Laurelhurst Park.

Snow Day!

If you live in Portland Oregon you know that a snow storm like this only comes around about every 5-10 years.  So of course the first thing I do is let my dogs go wild and have that first demolishing of the pristine layers of white flakes that have landed on our lawn.

Zoey and Bella

On a cold December morning I met this adorable pair, along with their parents, at Cathedral Park for some family portraits.  Here are just a couple  favorites.

The Guilt Trip

Georgia is my third favorite dog, one and two being my Stella and Lucy, in no particular order of course.  Georgia belongs to a good friend of mine whom I stay with at least a couple times a year.  Anyhow, Georgia and I get along splendidly.  We play non stop fetch and she even comes to cuddle up with me at night in bed which makes me feel like I’m her most favorite guest.

Well of course goodbyes are never easy and this is what she does when I tell her I’m leaving…

Billy Bones

Billy and his parents met me in downtown Portland for this shoot.  It was such a beautiful day with a ton of fun backgrounds to work with.

I’ve said this before but I just love photographing older dogs.  They might move slower and mosey around doing what they feel comfortable doing but I just feel like they’ve turned into old souls.  When you look at their eyes, it seems like they have just figured it all out by this point in their lives.  Having photos of your dogs done at this age is so wonderful and it’s definitely something that you will love for years to come.

A few photos down is Koi , Billy’s younger buddy that joined us and you can see there’s a bit of energy to burn:)  Wonderful dogs both of them.  I enjoyed this shoot so much.
